Pre-enable BitLocker in WINPE?

Good people, Since security is becoming ever more important, we are considering to have all laptop hard drives encrypted using BitLocker. Now obviously we can enable that on existing machines, but we really like to do this with new machines. Since enabling this by grou policy will take a while, we'd...

EPE 4 ssh password changed?

Good people, At one of our sites several computers started reinstalling windows. Not much of a problem, just that some are stuck in the epe (4.0 as we are using now). Not I wish te send them a reboot via the ssh in the EPE. But apparently the root password has changed from the older versions. Could ...

Package sync template to sync just one folder

Dear sirs/madams, Here I find myself in trouble again. This time we created a package that is quite frankly enormous (35GB) and as you may imagine, we only want it to be synced to one depot server and especially not to any remote server over a 1,5 mbit wan link. Now we could make a separate template...

Re: Package keeps reinstalling

Thanks for the reply.
This indeed could be the thing. But I have to say it is a strange way to manifest this "error".
We'll give this a try, definitely.

Package keeps reinstalling

Hi All, I thought I try my luck again with the forums :) We have a couple of packages (2) that when they are installed successfully, they immediately reinstall. This is quite annoying for the users working with this package and it's been bothering me for some time now too. I really can't figure out ...

Re: Activate removes all status lights

In the meantime we've been able to resolve the problem. Somehow the AmpInvScan_Windows.xml got corrupted and that got distributed to nearly all clients.

We did manage to find a working copy, that does list all the software and redistributed it. Now everything is working like it should :)

Re: Activate removes all status lights

Hi Seipf,

Ah, I see...
Here it looks like the Inventory command in our startup folders is a /diff command. Doing this by GPO seems like a good idea, but how could I best adjust it in the inventory template?

Found it in the setup.inf I'll remove it and redistribute the package.

Re: Activate removes all status lights

Hi Seipf, Thanks for the reply. I am getting lots of SWDepot log entries. As far as I can see from the SWDepot log, Teamviewer and AUT are successfully installed, so they should be OK. But since the last activate, only Nitro PDF has been properly installed... So that is the only Green package. I'd s...

Activate removes all status lights

Hi all, Here is my first post on the forums, but definitively not my first visit. I've read many interesting things here that every now and then did help me out. Now here is the problem. We have been building a new PWM 16.0 next to our existing 14.2 Empirum installation. That all worked out fine, bu...
