That kind of works.
But it only runs once per user. It is not possible, for example, to rerun a script or reinstall an application.
Setup.exe just opens-closes instantly.

Run application as current user?
Hi there, I need the data collector to write some values to HKCU, but when I run it from the Kiosk it always run as SYSTEM. Because of that, the values show under the SYSTEM registry hive, and not the current user using the computer. How can I make the data collector run as the current logged on use...

Set package installation order?
Hi there, I have multiple assignments inside a Assignment Group, but would like that a particular program installs after all the others. This is because this program requires reboot but all others don't, and I would prefer to have everything installed after the reboot is requested. Any idea how can ...

Import Definition - Query Definition for MACAddress?
Hi there, I'm trying to import Logon events to my computers. My input file has a MACAddress, username and logon date. I'm already able to import the logon events to a computer by matching SPSComputerClassBase.PrimaryMACAddress to the MACAddress I provide on my input file. Unfortunately I cannot guar...

Re: Missing applications installed per user (HKCU)
This looks like a very easy change to implement, as the same logic applied to HKLM could be applied to HKCU as well, just by changing the root key.
Path and keys are all the same.
Followed your advice and entered an idea for it. Hope it gets implemented.

Re: Hide software from Software Depot?
Ok. Seems to work. But now, say I'm on a "BYOD" device, not domain joined. my username can be whatever. I want to assign some software on the depot to some users and/or machines. From what I can see, the agent does not require any authentication other then the one included in the agentconf...

Re: How does /REMOTE and /P works?
Hi,
The documentation refers to web mode ("/P Password for web mode/Remote mode").
Any idea if this is something planned in the near future?
Thanks.

How does /REMOTE and /P works?
Hi, Running EmpInventory.exe /? shows the option to set a /REMOTE location. If I set it to https://<myrepo>/Matrix-Empirum I can see that EmpInventory tries to connect with HTTP protocol to that location, but without any authentication. Also, there is a /P (password is encoded) flag, that I assume c...

Re: Inventory all Exe files?
Hi Hendrik,
I added a rule for the particular executable, and while I can see the file under "FileScan", it does not list the software under "Software".
Any idea why?
Thanks

Hide software from Software Depot?
Hi, I have some software (say Office 2016) that I want to deploy to computers, but only when assigned. What is happening now is that all users can see the package even if it is not assigned to them or the machine their in, just by opening the software depot. How can I make the software only show to ...

Missing applications installed per user (HKCU)
Hi there, My inventory tool only looks for software at HKLM. missing the software that is installed under the user context (HKCU). As a side problem, it also misses ThinApp applications that users have registered to their desktop, because they get registered under HKCU. Is this a limitation of the p...

Re: Inventory all Exe files?
Hi Hendrik, It worked fine. I can see the file list and versions. But, is it possible to make it create Software entries for each executable? Also, do you know if the captured filescan info can be used with the compliance tool to, for example, detect portable software that requires a license? Thanks.

Inventory all Exe files?
Hi there,
Is there a way to, like with other solutions, scan for all the executable files on the host and capture the vendor and application names?
From what I can see, if I want to scan for executable files I have to define each of them manually on the console.
Thanks.
