Hallo zusammen,

ich bin der Meinung, dass Herr Horst Dröge von MX42 auf dem Customer Day in Mainz bei seinem Vortrag „Remote Control Best Practice“ erwähnt hatte, dass man über eine Variablen-Setzung innerhalb der EMC die Zuweisung der Clients innerhalb der „Remote Control Management Konsole“ steuern kann.

Kennt sich jemand damit aus und kann mir helfen wie das funktioniert? Oder habe ich mich ggf. verhört?

Das stimmt. Dafür gibt es die Variable Matrix42_Remote_Control / Folder

Wir haben das ausprobiert. Aber leider ohne Erfolg.
Ist da ein bestimmter Syntax zu beachten?

Nein. Nur den Ordnernamen eingeben. z.B. "XYZ" oder "Marketing" oder "Hamburg" ...

Dann mal bitte für RC ANfänger.
Ich habe im FaStViewer einen Ordner im Root angelegt mit dem Namen Test.
In der EMC habe ich eine Konfigurationsgruppe. In den Variablen dieser Konfigurationsgruppe habe ich bei der Variablen Folder Test eingetragen und für alle übernommen.
In dieser KOnfigurationsgruppe habe ich einen neuen Computer angelegt und diesen installiert. Im FastViewer erscheint der Computer in dem Ordner New clients und nicht im Ordner Test.
Was fehlt?
