Wir haben jetzt EPE 4.1 eingerichtet. Aber trotzdem bekomme ich den Netzwerkkarten fehler.
Er versucht immer was mit 3ware, aber das klappt nicht.

Wir haben allerdings ein HP Probook 460 G2.

Habt ihr die Parameter bei der Bootdisk angepasst?

Hallo,

wie und wo taucht der Netzwerkfehler auf - im und zur EPE Zeit?
Ich hatte zuletzt ein HP Elitedesk 800G2 ohne Probleme.
Nur ein aktueller HP Z440 zickt noch etwas.

schon ein Biosupdate versucht? Die aktuelle Z240 wollte auch nicht. Nach Biosupdate sofort...

BIOS ist up to date
AHCI wie auch RAID Modus getestet
C6xx Treiber in Windows PE und 7 x64 eingebunden

Bei den HP z*40 Machinen scheint es diverse unterschiedliche Konstellationen und Generationen zu geben.
Wir haben die z440 bei einem anderen Kunden samt EPE 3.x laufen!

Der Fehler taucht auf, wenn er auf den Server zugreifen will. Anscheint.
Erst kommt die Meldung. für Spy können Sie auch ein USB device anschließen und dann kommt danach schon der Fehler mit der Netzwerkkarte.

Weiter komme ich überhaupt nicht.

Egal ob ich eine neuinstallation ausführen will oder ein Spy machen möchte

Hallo,

ist das BIOS komplett auf "Legacy" Boot und Bootkomponenten eingestellt?
Ich selbst hatte nur das Problem, dass mit einem alten EPE 3.x das StorageDevice nicht gefunden werden konnte.
Das wiederum aber nur beim HP z440. Der Elitedesk 800 G2 läuft mit dem EPE 4.1.2 problemlos. (alle BIOS Optionen auf Legacy eingestellt.). Damit hat sich Windows 7 x64 und Windows 10 Pro x64 installieren lassen.

Er läuft auch an.

Aber dann kommt am Ende oder dort wo er Hängen bleibt mount-empirumserver can't mount

Aber vor den Fehlermeldungen steht eth0 up.

Verstehe ich nicht.
Ich schau nochmal ob ich alles auf Legacy umgestellt habe.

Es sollte alles auf Legacy umstellt sein. Dsa sehe ich im Log auf dem Server

Sowas hab ich jetzt auch auf einem Depotserver.

alt-EPE geht, EPE 4 nicht....


Was könnte denn auf DEM einen Depotserver anders sein ?

Vielleicht mal als Tipp - weiß nicht ob es im Thread oben schon vorkam - es scheint ein Problem mit einigen HP Geräten und der allerneuesten EPE4 zu geben.
Ich hatte z.B. kürzlich HP Elitebook 820G3 + 840G3.
Die gingen nur mit der EPE 4.2.8 zu booten, bei neueren war kein Netzwerk Interface da.
Wird gerade vom Support analysiert.
Man kann sich bei Bedarf die alten Versionen als Verzeichnis reinkopieren, EPE erstellen und wieder das neue zurückkopieren.

Mhm in meinem Fall ist es ein Dell Optiplex 5040, auch mit Skylake.
Installation funktioniert überall problemlos, außer in einer Niederlassung.
Ich habe das Epe 4.1.13.160 sowie das 4.3.5.380 probiert.

Hallo miteinander!

Da ich grad ewig versucht habe auf einem "HP Z240 Tower Workstation" ein Windows 7 x64 Pro über Matrix42 zu installieren > hier meine Lösung:
>> Advanced - Secure Boot Configuration - Legacy Support Enable and Secure Boot Disable
>> Advanced - Option ROM Launch Policy - All UEFI Expect Video


Der 2. Punkt mit "All UEFI Expect Video" war der Knackpunkt. Davor lief das Install immer bis zum letzten Neustart und hing dann bei "Windows wird gestartet" (und im abgesicherten Modus bei "disk.sys"). Nach viel hin und her mit Treiber-Injektion und manuell installieren und alle möglichen Einstellungen ausprobieren, bin ich auf diesen Punkt gestoßen und dann lief das Install über Matrix42 endlich sauber durch und alles war gut :)

Vielleicht hilft es ja dem ein oder anderen einige Stunden/Tage an Zeit zu sparen :)
