Update from v12 to v14

Hi,
we plan to update our emperium v12 to v14.
My question concerns the emperium agent.
We have both legacy agents and advanced agents installed. Are they compatible with v14 or do we have to push the new v14 agent to all the workstations? (Mix of both XP and Windows 7).
