ich quäle mich schon seit langer Zeit mit dem Problem SP3 für Windows XP auszurollen.
Es ist zwar kein Empirum-Problem aber vielleicht hat hier ja trotzdem jemand 'ne Idee oder sogar eine Lösung
. Das Problem:
Bei der Installation des SP3 wird irgendwann aufgrund fehlender Zugriffsrechte abgebrochen (siehe Log weiter unten). Als Problemlösung habe ich bei Microsoft bzw. im Internet bisher nur den Holzhammer gefunden: Alle Rechte in der Registry und im System-LW auf Standard zurücksetzen (mit den Tools subinacl und secedit).
Danach lässt sich dann SP3 wunderbar installieren. Die Nebenwirkungen durch diese Rechtelöschungen sind aber so fatal, dass diese Vorgehensweise unakzeptabel ist. Sämtliche Programme die für "normale User" irgendwelche besonderen Rechte gesetzt haben, funktionieren anschließend nicht mehr.
Hat jemand eine Idee wie man das ursprüngliche Zugriffs-Problem lösen kann? Das gekürzte Log der SP3-Installation findet sich hier:
