Ich möchte am Client mit der GUI ein Backup manuell erstellen. Wenn ich ein doppelklick auf die ERBackupGUI.exe mache passiert gar nichts. Im Taskmanager läuft der Prozess leider sehe ich am Client nichts. Deshalb die Frage welches Programm gestartet werden muss damit die GUI erscheint.

Sie können der erbackupgui.exe mal eine Anmeldung an den Server mitgeben. Vielleicht geht es dann:
erbackupgui.exe /WA30 /R\\%EmpirumServer% /Ulocal\user1 /Psecret

Die GUI von Restore und Mount funktionieren beide.
Das Übergeben von Server und Anmeldedaten hilft auch nicht.
Versucht habe ich:
\\domain\user
domain\user

\user
Der User ist Domain Administrator also sollten die Rechte ausreichend sein.
Dem Client ist ein Template zugeordnet. Muss dem Client zwingend eines zugewiesen sein auch wenn man einen manuellen Backup machen möchte?

Klar, er muss ja wissen WAS er WOHIN sichern soll.
