Hallo allerseits,

ich arbeite mich seit ein paar Wochen in Empirum ein und stehe nun vor meinem ersten größeren Problem.

Ich versuche Microsoft CRM 4.0 zu verteilen auf Basis der Unattended.inf, jedoch ruft das CRM Setup im ersten Installationsschritt die C++ Runtime Installation auf, welche am Ende Errorlevel 0 liefert und Empirum die Installation für vollständig annimmt.

Dies ist relativ problematisch, da ich im nächsten Schritt des Setup gerne ein Language Pack nachschieben und CRM konfigurieren will.

Hat irgendjemand schon Erfahrungen hiermit gemacht ?

Das gleiche Problem habe ich auch. Da der Ursprungpost schon vom März letzten Jahres ist, vermute ich, dass da niemand eine Idee hat?!?

Hallo,

ich habe das ganze bei uns paketiert und mich folgendem Trick bedient.

Call "%SRC%\setupclient.exe" /Q /L "C:\Temp\CRMLog.txt" INSTALLLEVEL=3
WaitUntilFileExists "%ProgramFilesDir%\Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\Binn\sqlcmd.exe"
sleep 300000

Ist ein wenig unsauber, aber funktioniert prima. Das viel größere Problem war den automatischen Download von SQL Express zu umgehen. Dies ist aber nur notwendig wenn ihr auch den Offline Client einsetzen wollt.

überlegt.
Wir benutzen den Offline Client... Wie hast du den automatischen Download von SQL Server denn umgangen?

Hallo JeeCay,

ich habe mir die Installationsquellen alle selbst runtergeladen und nacheinander installiert. Das wichtige was mich viel Zeit gekostet hatte war die Installation des eigentlichen SQL Express. Der Schlüssel zum Erfolg war bei der Installation mithilfe der unten angegebenen Parameter automatisch eine Instanz mit dem Name CRM anzulegen.

CALL "%SRC%\ReportViewer\install.exe" /q

call "%SRC%\SQLEXPRESS\setup\SqlSupport.msi" /qn
call "%SRC%\SQLEXPRESS\setup\sqlncli.msi" /qn
call "%SRC%\SQLEXPRESS\setup\SqlWriter.msi" /qn
call "%SRC%\SQLEXPRESS\setup\sqlrun_sql.msi" instancename=CRM SQLAUTOSTART=1 /qn

Das mit dem "WaitUntilProcessExist ..." funktioniert zwar, allerdings bekomme ich den "Error -2" im SetupErrorlog... Und kann mir darauf erst mal keinen Reim machen...

Wann führst du die SQL-Installationen aus? Wahrscheinlich vor der SetupClient.exe?

genau die setupclient.exe wird erst nach der Installation des SQL Express Servers gestartet
