Windows 7 WIM anpassen?????

Hallo

Ich versuche seit einiger Zeit eine Windows 7 Grundinstallation hin zu bekommen.
Ich gehe wie folgt vor.
-Windows 7 installiere und mit einem admin anpassen so wie ich es haben will.
-sysprep OOBE + Verallgemeinern
-nachdem das System unten ist platte raus und an einen anderen W7 Rechner angeschlossen
- dann mittels ImageX /capture d:(win7Platte) c:\install.wim „W7 Pro“ /compress fast /verify
-Install.wim nach \\%EmpirumServer%\empirum$\EmpInst\Sys\win7\x86\pro\0\DE\VISTADVD\sources
verschoben

laut Anleitung im Buch „Windows 7 für Administratoren“ soll es so gemacht werden, allerdings findet meinen Empirum Installation jetzt kein OS mehr im WIM File

hat das schon mal jemand gemacht oder gibt es vielleicht noch einen anderen Weg?

Habe dazu mal einen KHC Eintrag für Vista erstellt, vielleicht geht es auch für Win7?

Kurzbeschreibung: How to create a customized Vista WIM-image including base-applications and settings for deployment via Empirum OS Installer
Bechreibung:
The imagex-tool (part of the Microsoft WAIK toolkit) can be used to preconfigure the Vista environment during OS installation.
Any application, any file and registry key can be included in this custom image.

This step-by-step-guide describes how to use this feature with Empirum OS Installer:

- Install Windows Vista on a computer that will serve as a master system (either manually or via Empirum)
- Configure any standard settings and install base applications you want to include with the image
- Run "%windir%\system32\sysprep\sysprep.exe /generalize /oobe" to seal the configuration and shut down the PC
- Boot the computer from a Windows PE-CD (e.g. Bart PE Builder http://www.nu2.nu)
- You now need access to the imagex.exe. Either connect to a network share or use a USB memory stick / hard drive.
- You also need space to store the image (e.g. network share, 2nd partition, USB hard drive). The size will be approximately 2.5 to 3 GB.
- Run imagex with the following parameters:
imagex.exe /compress maximum /flags "Enterprise" /capture c:\ d:\install.wim "my image description"
If you do not use Enterprise but a different Vista version change the flags-string-value to HomeBasic, Ultimate, Business, ServerStandard, ...
"c:\" is the source-partition
"d:\install.wim" is the destination image path and name

The image process will take one to two hours.
- Start the Empirum Management Console (EMC) and import the Vista-DVD used to install the computer you just imaged. Use a custom suffix to keep the original Vista source files.
- Copy the INSTALL.WIM-file you created to "empinst$\sys\winvista\x86\<your-suffix>\<language>\vistadvd\sources" overwriting the original INSTALL.WIM
- Create a new OS template referring to the suffix and OS files you imported
- Now you can use the new OS template to install any PC with the configuration and base-applications you included with the image.

Hints:
- If you get a "cannot read INSTALL.WIM" error message when installing the customized image there is something wrong with your FLAGS-parameter you chose during ImageX.

Hallo

und besten dank der wichtige hinnweis ist /flags "Enterprise" jetzt läuft auch die installation durch. leider erreiche ich aber noch immer nicht mein gewünschtes ziel eines default users. gewisse einstellungen werden nicht übernommen wie z.B. die anpassung der taskleiste.
sollte das nicht mit übernommen werden?

Weiß ich nicht, zur Not kann man aber ein RUNONCE in der Registry eintragen das ein Empirum Script auslöst.

Hi,

Sorry for posting in the German forum but I could not find a post related to my issue in the English forum.

I have created a custom Windows 7 image following the instruction above, however, now I am at the stage of deploying this image using in Empirum and the process either hangs when copyin the OS installation source files, or restarts after copying the PXE image.

Would you have any ideas as to why this would be happening or could you perhaps point me in the right direction with regards to troubleshooting the problem?

ich habe auch ein Problem mit einer Win7 WIM Datei, habe auch schon unten genannte Tips versucht, Bekomme jedoch bei der Inatallation den Fehler, das nicht alle Dateien des OS-Templates kopiert werden können. Meine WIM Datei ist größer als 4 GB. Wie kann ich Empirum beibringen, das ich eine Split Datei oder ähnliches Benutze? Wenn ich die WIM direkt importieren will, findet er kein OS
