Patch-Management funktioniert nicht

Guten Morgen.

auf unserem frisch installierten Empirum-Server funktioniert das Patch-Management nicht. Es werden keine Info-Dateien heruntergeladen, die gesamte Registerkarte im Configurator ist leer.

Der Internetzugang auf dem Empirum-Server klappt. Wenn ich die in der DBUtil angegebene Internetadresse www.msus.windowsupdate.com/msus/v1/aucatalog1.cab eingebe, könnte ich die aucatalog1.cab auch manuell herunterladen.

Wenn ich aber auf "Jetzt synchronisieren" klicke, kommt nur die Meldung, dass das Synchronisieren in 5 Minuten beendet sei und sonst passiert nichts.

Welche Einstellungen sollte ich noch mal überprüfen?

Hallo,

ich stelle meist den Scheduler um, so dass der Automatismus nicht nachts um 3 (Standard) sondern eben in 2 Minuten los läuft.

Nächster Punkt ist DebugView mal mitlaufen zu lassen, in dem Log sieht man recht gut was passiert.

Hallo,

Scheduler umstellen hat null bewirkt, es passiert einfach nichts.

Was ist denn bitte "DebugView"? Wo finde ich das? Wie aktiviere ich es?

Hi,

DebugView ist ein Prog von www.sysinternals.com (freeware). In Windows gibts ne Debugschnittstelle auf das Programme schreiben können, aber sonst unsichtbar ist. Mit DebugView werden diese Ausgaben angezeigt.

ich habe jetzt den DebugView mitlaufen lassen und bekomme folgende Meldung, wenn ich den Proxy so einstelle, wie normal für den Internetzugang:
[888] HTTP: Internet session - OK
[888] HTTP: Resource: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=18922
[888] HTTP: Connection using proxy - http=http://xx.xx.x.xxx:80
[888] HTTP: Request the resource
[888] HTTP: Response code: 502 23
[888] HTTP: Download failed

Stelle ich den Anschluß auf 8080 um, kommt folgender Eintrag:
[888] HTTP: Internet session - OK
[888] HTTP: Resource: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=18922
[888] HTTP: Connection using proxy - http=http://xx.xx.x.xxx:8080
[888] HTTP: Request the resource
[888] HTTP: Response code: -1 7
[888] HTTP: Download failed

Was ist da faul?

zumindest ist mal offensichtlich dass es entsprechende Fehler beim downloaden gibt. Such einfach mal nach den HTTP Fehlercodes im INet, die könnten weiter helfen. Als quick & dirty Lösung einfach den Proxy umgehen, funktioniert eigentlich immer und da fällt dann das lange Warten auf den zuständigen Admin weg.

Wie soll ich denn den Proxy umgehen? Unser ISA ist der einzige Weg über den es ins Internet geht...
Und dummerweise bin ich auch noch der zuständige Admin für den ISA... könnte es an Einstellungen von dem liegen?

das Patchmanagement mal OHNE Proxy konfigurieren - funktioniert meist, wenn keine Authentifizierung am ISA eingestellt ist.

Patchmanagement ohen Proxy ergibt:
[2580] HTTP: Response code: -1 7
[2580] HTTP: Download failed

Am ISA habe ich die entsprechenden Seiten explizit sogar eingegeben, es gibt eine Site- und Inhaltsregel für anonymen Zugriff für *.windowsupdate.com

Keine Ahnung, was ich jetzt wo noch drehen kann/soll...

Hallo,

ich wollte doch wenigstens noch die Lösung posten, falls jemand anderes vielleicht mal das gleiche Problem hat:

Voraussetzung: Der ISA-Server arbeitet mit benutzerspezifischen Rechten

Damit das Patch-Management funktioniert, muß der Empirum-Server komplett als Client im ISA-Server eingetragen werden, da hier keine benutzer- sondern eine rechnerspezifische Authentifizierung erforderlich ist.

Es läuft schon wieder nicht!

Hi,

unser Patch-Management funzt schon wieder nicht. Seit dem 14 Juli kein Update mehr und im DebugView steht:

[896] HTTP: Connection using proxy - http=http://a6601192:80
[896] HTTP: Request the resource
[896] HTTP: Response code: -1 6
[896] HTTP: Download failed

Kann mir jemand den Response Code in verständliche Sprache übersetzen? Unter Google habe ich leider nichts gefunden, mit der -1 gibt's da Probleme...

diese Schreibweise einer IP-Adresse ist mir völlig unbekannt :shock:

Die selbe Fehlermeldung habe ich auch. Was bedeutet Response Code -1 6
