Multiple Service Desks

Hi guys,
is there way to create multiple Service Desks in Matrix42?

Is there a plugin that can do that?

Enterprise Queue Management (EQM) is what you are looking for, I guess.

Allows you to separate the IT Service desk from, HR, FM, etc.

Hey,
thanks for the reply.
we have multple 1st Level Support Teams, they support different departments, so we want to create multiple Service Desks

Like SD Team 1
SD Team 2

we also need to seperate them so for example SD 1 Team cant see the SD of Team 2.

How can I do that with EQM? it only allows me to have extra field where I can select the Team and forward the Ticket to them.

You only need EQM if you want to separate the teams completely, so they cannot see the tickets of other teams.
There will be a new "Queue Management" app in the UI which provides a limited view, so the different teams will not use the Service Desk app but the Queue Management app.

If data separation is not critial, it is usually configured by creating separate roles the tickets will be forwarded to.

Each role can get individual views to tickets, so only the relevant ones are displayed in the grid view.
Either by access rights (ownership) or filters (e.g. only tickets raised by department A with category B).

Hey,

alles klar danke sehr, das hat viel geholfen.

Wir möchten aber unsere Service Desk App von eine Gruppe von Benutzern verstecken, wie können wiir Applicationen verstecken? ich weiss mit Rollen kann ich einiges verstecken aber welche Rolle hat den Service Desk?

Das geht über die Zielgruppen an den Navigationsobjekten die der App zugeordnet sind.
z.B. das Navigationsobject "Incidents/Störungen" ist diversen Rollen zugeordnet. Siehe Screenshot.

Sobald ein Benutzer auf kein Navigationsobjekt einer App mehr berechtigt ist, wird die App automatisch ausgeblendet.

kann man auch durch Filter die Gruppen von einander trennen?

Wir haben Rollen, wie
SD Team 1
SD Team 2

ist es möglich Filter so anzupassen, dass jeder Team nur Tickets sieht die an ihren Rolle zugewiesen sind?
Wir haben ein Filter "All Tickets" es zeigt uns wirklich alle Tickets, das wollen wir nicht. "All Tickets" ist ein Navigation Item
und mit Activityclassebase gebunden, das heisst es zeigt wirklich alles, wo kann man sowas begrenzen?

Wenn man bei der Definition der Berechtigungen mehrmals klickt kommt irgendwann das "X".
Das entzieht der jeweiligen Rolle den Zugriff, selbst wenn sie die Rechte aus einer anderen Rolle geerbt hat.
Soll aber vorsichtig angewendet werden, kann auf die Performance gehen.
