Linux Installation
Hallo an alle,
hat hier schon mal jemand erfolgreich Suse 9 mit Empirum installiert ?
Folgendes Problem:
Zur Installationszeit wird aus der os.ini die autoinst.xml erstellt.
Schaut man sich die os.ini an, steht bei swap 2000M als Größe drin.
In der autoinst.xml wird daruas ein "auto".
kann man der Installation irgendwie eine eigene autoinst.xml mitgeben ?
Weiss zufällig jemand ob RedHat 4 funktioniert ?
Fragen über Fragen...

SuSE Linux 9.0 wird in einer mehrsprachigen Ausgabe ausgeliefert und läßt sich entsprechend unter 'Multilingual' importieren.

Einfach im Dateisystem unter \Empirum\EmpInst\Sys\Linux\SUSE90 die Files hinkopieren und schon isses unter Multilingual da...
habe es auch schon verzweifelt unter Deutsch gesucht

Sie brauchen SuSE Linux 9.0 - das ist die einzige Version die bei 2005 unterstützt wird.

Mhmm, soweit es scheint geht es auch damit...
Allerdings schlägt die Paritionierung fehl...
Wir sind sehr Microsoftlastig und ich möchte
aber trotzdem auch unseren Kunden zeigen:
Das geht auch mit Linux...
Was ist denn bei der Partitionierung unter Linux zu beachten ?
lege ich nur eine dev/hda an und fertig oder wie sieht das aus?
Find leider nichts in FAQ'S und in GOOGLE....
(Habe nur seeehr grundlegende Linuxkenntnisse, eher in der GUI...)

Tipp zu den Partitionsgrößen:
z.B. der Eintrag "8000" für die root-Partition entspricht "8000 Bytes" für die Installation- könnte knapp werden
Richtig ist: 8000 + Größeinheit (k, M oder G für kilo-, Mega- oder Gigabyte) z.B. 8G oder 450M
